Your Questions, Answered
Saaj is a traditional Maharashtrian necklace worn by brides and at festivals. This piece follows that heritage design with gold leaf motifs, ghungroo bead clusters and a ruby-set centre, made in gold plating so you get the traditional look at an affordable price.
The necklace measures 14 inches in height. It has a thread (dori) tie at the back, so you can adjust how high or low it sits on the neck.
It is gold plated with a matt polish, which gives a soft, antique gold look instead of a high shine, set with red and green stones and finished with pearl clusters near the dori.
It is made for weddings, engagements, Mangalagaur, Gudi Padwa, Diwali and Navratri. It looks best with a nauvari, Paithani or silk saree, and pairs well with green glass bangles and a nath.
Avoid harsh chemicals such as cleaning agents. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear and store it flat in a pouch or box so the bead clusters do not tangle.
Care Guide
• Avoid harsh chemicals such as cleaning agents.
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear.
• Store flat in a pouch or box so the ghungroo bead clusters do not tangle.
